My Top 5 Disneyland Tips
My Top 5 Disneyland Tips
Disneyland is the happiest place on earth but it can also be the hardest place to navigate! I have grown up going to Disneyland and at one point I was going to Disneyland once a week. Here are my top 5 tips on how to better navigate the park!
1) Get to the Parks an hour before opening
The mornings at Disneyland usually the least crowded time of the day. I like to be in the park early and try to be parked and walking in an hour before opening. I usually try to ride the attractions that usually have long wait times such as Space Mountain or Peter Pan. Also if you are staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels you get magic mornings which is also a great time to ride the more popular attractions.
(Sorry this pic is really blurry, but this trip I had gotten to Space Mountain first and it was walk on!!)
2) Bring Snacks
My favorite part about going to Disneyland is EATING. I love getting a churro or a dole whip, but when I buy a bunch of snack it starts to get a little pricey. Also I always seem to be more hungry because of all walking. I always make sure to bring candy and homemade rice krispy treats (they travel really well unlike normal cookies that crumble easily!) that way when I need a sugary snack I have one ready!
3) Get the Fantasmic dining packages
Ok so I love Fantasmic, but since the switch to the Fast pass system it has become kind of a hassle to get a decent spot! Also it takes a huge chunk of time out of your day. I love the Fantasmic dining packages. Many restaurants offer it, but when you get it you get dinner and then a reserved spot to view Fantasmic! When I did it, I ate at the Hungry Bear Lodge. The food was really good and it was nice not to have to worry about getting a good spot to see Fantasmic!
4) Get Max Pass
Yes, Max Pass can be pricey, the last time I visited Disneyland it costed $15! I know it can add up when you have a large family. The great thing about Max pass is that you can reserve fast passes through the Disneyland app so you don't have to run across the park to a ride to get a fastpass and then rush over to the other side to get on another ride. Max pass is a time saver and gives you more opportunities to ride more rides!
5) Buy that Sweatshirt!
Disneyland is a special trip and it's ok to buy a souvenir to remember it! I know that sometimes it is pricey but I have never regretted buying my Disnhoweyland sweatshirt. I still have the toys my parents got me when they took me as a kid! Same goes with Minnie or Mickey mouse ears. It is so fun to wear them in the park and there is a large variety of options for ears and sweatshirts!
I hope this list helps! If you have any more questions comment them below and I'll do my best to answer them!
